But even the BOB Revolutionflex 3.0 Combo and the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 in 1 pushchair and car seat Combo can be moved by one hand.

Some models are hard to attach or remove from the base, though. The Doona Combo, for example requires a two-step attachment procedure and straps that are placed over the infant carrier's bottom portion. It's tempting to skip these steps but it could lead to dangerous outcomes.

Certain models are also more difficult to fold or store than others, which makes them less practical. The Graco FastAction 3-in-1 Car Seat Stroller, for instance, is hard to fold due to its massive dimensions and bulky frame. Some users have also found the canopy of this model to be unsatisfactory. The Britax Parkway Combo Click and Go is easy to fold with just a push of a button and pulling the lever. This model is an excellent choice for parents who want to use their car seat in other people's cars, since it can be easily removed from the base.

Easy to Fold

If you're storing your car seat on its own, in the trunk of your car or even in a closet, it should be simple to fold and unfold. The best combinations we've tested feature a simple one-handed fold that is compact and strong enough to be used for long walks. They're also easy to maneuver, moving effortlessly over uneven surfaces and bumps. Some combos can only be attached and detached by straps. This could seem like a step in the back and make it more difficult for parents to secure their child's car seat correctly.

The BOB Revolution Flex Combo is an excellent option due to its sturdy construction and practical features, including a huge storage bin that is accessible from the front or back. Both have a single wheel that is easy to push with one hand. Both have one front wheel that is easy to push (one-handed!). They also have a movable spinner wheel, ideal for shopping and running errands. The only drawback is that they're quite heavy and it can be tricky to lift them up when carrying a child in the car seat.

Easy to Assemble

Some car seat and stroller combos can be tricky to put together. We discovered that the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo was one of the easiest to put together, and it even includes a handy quick-start guide which makes putting this system together a breeze. Other models we tested like the UPPAbaby Minu, UPPAbaby Vista V2 Thule Urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also easy to put together. The BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo however isn't easy to put together. It requires two steps connecting the lower anchors, and using straps to cover the bottom of the carrier. It's also very heavy, which means it takes two hands to click the carrier into the base, then detach it from the base.

In our tests, it took us about 5 minutes to put the UPPAbaby v2 together. This is a bit fast when you consider how much time is saved by not having to take out the pieces. The majority of these models come with a simple process for attaching and detaching the toddler seat, but there are other options as well.
