Diablo 4 Item Upgrades

Item upgrades allow players to increase the level of equippable items such as weapons or armor, as well as trinkets up to a certain amount. You can upgrade items at any NPC that accepts the appropriate currency.

Upgrade components are inserted into equipment to give attributes bonuses and other effects. The majority of these upgrades are slot-restricted, but a few are universal.

Rerolling

Requirements

Costs

The cost of upgrading an item could be gold and/or Dilithium, depending on the type of item. Some upgrades also require Flightstones or crests.
